Highlights from this years Galway International Arts Festival
The Galway International Arts Festival has wrapped up for another year! Last week Galway was jam packed with international music, visual arts, performing arts and more, so lets take a look back at some of this years highlights.
GIAF productions go on to tour nationally and internationally, and First Thought Talks have taken place in Galway, New York, and London.
The organisation has played a very significant role in placing Galway firmly on the map as both a key cultural centre for the arts and a cultural tourism destination on the Wild Atlantic Way. It now looks forward to playing a central role in the European Capital of Culture 2020 designation awarded to Galway.
